Description: This feature class depicts the centerlines of the main and secondary channels of Nowitna WSR + imagery metadata. The lines contained in this feature class were created from the polygon feature class of the left and right banks of the rivers (feature class name: Nowitna_Version_2_a_AK_WSR_ordinary_high_water), which itself was derived from the ESRI World Imagery online image service at the following URL:http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServerThe centerline of the main channels were created using the "Create Centerlines" geoprocessing tool in ArcGIS Pro. The centerlines of the secondary channels were manually digitized on-screen while zoomed in to a scale of 1:3,000. Digitizing was performed by Scott McGee, Cartographer, USFWS Alaska Region Division of Realty. This feature class is Step 2 of 2 in the process that was used to derive centerlines of the main and secondary river channels of Nowitna WSR. The processing order is outlined below:Step 1: Version 2g - centerlines of main and secondary river channelsStep 2: Version 2h - centerlines of main and secondary river channels with imagery metadata added

Description: This feature class depicts the line of ordinary high water on the left and right banks of Nowitna WSR. The polygons contained in this feature class were digitized from high-resolution (submeter) satellite imagery as published in the World Imagery image service by ESRI. This image service is available at the following URL:http://services.arcgisonline.com/arcgis/rest/services/World_Imagery/MapServerThe ordinary high water line of the left and right banks were digitized onscreen while zoomed in to a scale of 1:3,000. Digitizing was performed by Scott McGee, Cartographer, USFWS Alaska Region Division of Realty. This feature class is Step 1 of 6 in the process that was used to derive the preliminary WSR corridor boundaries. The processing order is outlined below:Step 1: Version 2a - ordinary high water lineStep 2: Version 2b - ordinary high water line with imagery metadata addedStep 3: Version 2c - ordinary high water line buffered with a 0.5 mile wide buffer zone on each side of the riverStep 4: Version 2d - ordinary high water line buffered with a 0.5 mile wide buffer zone on each side of the river with imagery metadata addedStep 5: Version 2e - ordinary high water line buffered with a 0.5 mile wide buffer zone on each side of the river with imagery metadata added and private lands removedStep 6: Version 2f - ordinary high water line buffered with a 0.5 mile wide buffer zone on each side of the river with imagery metadata added and private lands and river removed
