Description: Bank Erosion Hazard Index (BEHI) compiled by Trutta Environmental Solutions.  This layer is a compilation of HDSS BEHI surveys done by Trutta Environmental Solutions for various projects across the state of Alabama.

HDSS provides powerful insights into the current conditions of a stream or river and is a more effective approach to documenting stream corridor conditions than traditional sampling approaches.  For more specifics on the HDSS method visit Trutta's website.

Scores for line segments are averaged over lengths of 200 meters.  The values averaged are for left bank condition, right bank condition, both banks combined, depth and habitat.
