Description: The Florida Panther Consultation Area north of the Caloosahatchee River was redefined as the Fisheating Creek-Babcock/Webb and eastern Fisheating Creeek patches identified in Thatcher et all (2006) In addition, the two dispersal corridors to the next nearest patches. Avon Park and Myakka State Forest, were include to provide connectivity. Habitat value categories 1 and 2 were used to define the dispersal corridors. The corridors were extended north to arbitrary end points that would insure good connectivity to adjacent patches.
