Description: Points in this layer can be selected as sites in the Atlas of Breeding
Sites for Waterbirds in the Northern Gulf of America. The data are
organized in a vertical form, with a row for each combination of State,
Species, Year, Data provider, Provider colony name, and Metric.<br /><br />The
breeding data (which includes site locations and population counts) and
metadata (which includes survey year, methodology, contact information,
etc.) presented in the Atlas were collected, reviewed and shared by the
following data providers: Alabama Audubon, the Alabama Department of
Conservation & Natural Resources, Audubon Delta, the Deepwater
Horizon Regionwide Trustee Implementation Group, the Florida Fish &
Wildlife Conservation Commission, the Gulf Islands National Seashore,
and the Texas Colonial Waterbird Society. Data providers retain
ownership of the data presented in the Atlas; users interested in using
the data should contact providers before doing so.<br /><br />This layer is always visible in the Atlas and features can be filtered using Category Selectors.
