Description: The Town of Franklin was recently designated as a Green Community! The Town has been
working for many years at making energy efficiency a top priority. In order to qualify for the Green Community Designation, the Town has undertaken many Green Initiatives including use of a Solar Farm to power Town buildings and schools, lighting upgrade to Town buildings and schools, water & sewer system energy upgrades, street light LED conversion and more! This interactive map provides an overview of the various projects, which not only provided upgrades to existing infrastructure, but will save the Town and taxpayers money in the long term.
