Service Description: Priority Areas for the Northeast Pollinator Partnership.
http://www.northeastpollinatorpartnership.org/
The New England Pollinator Partnership (NEPP) is a collaborative multi-state partnership between the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and others, including the United States Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS). This partnership is intended to benefit the federally listed (endangered) rusty patched bumble bee, yellow banded bumble bee, monarch butterfly and several cuckoo bumble bees. The intended purpose of this collaboration is to create, enhance, and protect pollinator habitat on working lands and provide Endangered Species Act predictability. The NRCS is incentivizing participation with eligible landowners through technical and financial assistance using its Farm Bill authorities throughout Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. For additional information on implementing conservation practices and financial assistance, contact a local NRCS Service Center in any of the New England States.
