Description: This dataset was developed by ADEQ during a historic smoke studies. The exact timeframe is unknown. The airsheds were digitized manually after statewide flights were conducted to observe smoke behavior with an emphasis on nighttime smoke. The areas are based off of watersheds, however they do not follow watershed boundaries exclusively. The dataset is used by Air Quality Division for smoke management purposes and air dispersion modeling.There are no plans to update this dataset.
