Description: This dataset was developed specifically for use in the Air Dispersion Modeling GIS application which is a public-facing product that the regulated community and general public may use to find the appropriate meteorological data file to download based on their location or area of interest. Each station on the map has a corresponding file for download at https://azdeq.gov/AirDispersionModeling making it easy for customers to find the data they need.
The point features have been projected to NAD83 UTM Zone 12N.
In addition to the latitude and longitude coordinates listed in Geographic Coordinate System WGS 84, the dataset also includes station elevation (meters) and anemometer height (meters) for surface stations.
This is a relatively static dataset that will only be modified if new stations need to be added or existing stations removed. For general reference only.
