Description: Statewide Integrated Traffic Records System (SWITRS) location point data, containing reports on victims/persons involved in crash incidents in Orange County, California for 2012-2025 (Data from January 01, 2012 to September 30, 2025). The data are collected and maintained by the California Highway Patrol (CHP), from incidents reported by local and government agencies. Original tabular datasets are provided by the Transportation Injury Mapping System (TIMS). Only records with reported locational GPS attributes in Orange County are included in the spatial database (either from X and Y geocoded coordinates, or the longitude and latitude coordinates generated by the CHP officer on site). Incidents without valid coordinates are omitted from this spatial dataset representation. Last Updated on April 07, 2026
