The strath of this terrace is poorly exposed, but locally outcrops ~15 m above the Allegheny River. The tread of Qt6 is commonly mantled by younger Qacfu ~30 m above the river, constraining the underlying deposit to a thickness of ~15 m. The soil of Qt6 is not well exposed, but the tread is distinct in its dissection by gullies regularly-spaced ~100 m. The strath lies at an height of ~43 m above the Allegheny channel at Parker and has a more gentle gradient than the Allegheny River, lying ~50 m above the channel at Black Fox Run 13 km downstream of Parker. Qt4 is not present north of Foxburg, PA. The gravel clasts are heterolithic and contain numerous lithologies exotic to the Allegheny watershed; exotic lithologies are ~20% of clasts over 4cm in diameter. The strath is ~45 m AMRL, and the tread ~65 m AMRL, relative to the Allegheny channel at Parker. Fill terrace ~20 m thick, but up to 30 m in places, as it backfills a paleotopography. Base locally contains a diamicton, characterized by a matrix of grey sandy clay with medium-rounded gravels.. Upper parts deeply weathered and preserve a cumulic, polygenetic soil including a loess cap underlain by a 2-m thick, red argillic horizon developed through both fluvial and colluvial parent material. A terrestrial cosmogenic burial age of 1.11 Ma +/- 0.32 is calculated for stratified sand buried 11 m in the deposit at an abandoned sand and gravel quarry at Perryville, corresponding with pre-Illinoinan G-F and MIS 34.
