Description: This dataset contains gravel pad, airstrip, mine site information derived from both DOG.Spatial Infrastructure and non-digital resources. The DOG data has been edited to add the following: Mustang Pad and extension, CD5 and associated, ASRC Mine Site, Badami Airstrip, Point Thomson sites, KRU Drill Site S, other mine sites, and reclaimed former pad and airstrip sites.Certain features have been aggregated by their site ID, ie, containment ponds or flare sites near a Drill Site are aggregated with the Drill Site, unless they have a specific name or unless they have been reclaimed or abandoned in favor of another structure. Certain names have been digitized from a BPXA supplied map circa 2007. This dataset follows the same naming schema, with the exception of some old pad names that included dates. Each site in the attribute table was reviewed via imagery from Google Earth Pro, ESRI ArcGIS Earth, and GeoNorth Orthoimagery, predominantly current up to 2014-2016, with some exceptions for sparse infrastructure areas.The attribute table schema is: Name - Unit - Type - Status - Date Reviewed - ReviewerName = Name of pad digitized from BPXA map, SPCS internal sources, or public documentsUnit = Unit in which pad is found. Outside indicates pad outside unit boundaries as of Date ReviewedType = Type of pad: Airstrip/Material Site/Pad/Airstrip/Causeway/Dump/Homestead/Pad/TownsiteStatus = Status as of Date Reviewed. Abandoned: Pad is either usable or still present, but with no equipment or structures on itActive: Pad is usable and either on the road system or has material, equipment or structures presentReclaimed: Pad has either had gravel actively removed and site reclaimed, or pad is naturally degraded. Any subsidence or water presence in pad area means pad is classed as reclaimedDate Reviewed = Last date reviewed for accuracyReviewer = Last person reviewingUnk = unknown. Several sites have no information available to determine use or status -Reclaimed does not confirm that active reclamation took place, only that the site is being reclaimed to its natural state.-
