This data was last updated in June of 2023.

Appeal to the Great Spirit- included as a Muncie Park in the 5-year plan but is not included on the City's website.

Buley Center- It has not been verified if the Buley Center remains a part of the Muncie park system. The property is owned by the City of Muncie and the building is utilized by the Boys & Girls Club. The park is not included on the City Park Dept's webpage.

Canan Commons is managed by Downtown Development (verified at City Council in 2023). This info is necessary for park system planning.

Muncie Fireman's Park is included on the City's website but wasn't included in the 5-year plan. Management & ownership are unknown.

The City Park Dept's webpage includes Chambers Park and Mansfield Park which are owned by Center Township, and the Jerry L. Thornburg Park which is owned by the Muncie Housing Authority. It has not been verified if there is an agreement for Muncie Parks to maintain the parks.

"New" parks including I&M Park & Kiljack Park are not included on the City's website. City claimed to establish both as parks in 2021.
