Description:

U.S. Counties represents the counties of the United States in the 50 states, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico.

These numbers are preliminary and will changed. LA DOTD has generatd a variety of rainfall models over the Amite River Basin.  Below are preliminary damage assessment numbers for a rainfall model (16” and 20”) with the event centered over Denham Springs. They used Microsoft Building Outlines.

Note – this does not account for elevated structures. In addition, this does not account for wind damage, flooding from dam or levee breaks, flooding as a result of failure of irrigation ditches, use of spillways and weirs,  or stormwater backup. This data will be refined using event imagery, when provided.
