Service Description: The Hazards/Disaster Support Program assists US Forest Service regions, forests, and units in assessing risk and damage from non-fire hazard/disaster events. The primary mission is to assist forests, grasslands, and associated cooperators with remotely-sensed imagery, derived products, and other geospatial data and support services to analyze the effects from natural events. Provided data includes, but is not limited to, image services created from satellite or manned and unmanned aerial platforms and products derived from active and passive sensor systems.
