Description: The data contained in this feature class was originally collected in the Fall of 2011 and Spring of 2012. The data was obtained with a handheld GPS unit and digital camera while walking each of the SMTD regular day and night service routes in service at that time (*Validated locations for Route 19 are not yet available). Eight data attributes are documented:Route - The number in this field represents the first route along which the specific stop was encountered. This does not mean this is the only route which utilizes the specific stop.stop_id - The number in this field is simply a unique number to identify each stop.Amenities - This field identifies what, if any, amenities are available at the specific stop. Stops that indicate that a bench, shelter or other type of amenity are present assume that a sign is also present unless otherwise noted.Accessible - This simple Yes/No field indicates whether or not the surveyor felt that the stop was easily accessible for all users. Particular consideration was taken for passengers using wheelchairs and whether or not there was a curbed and paved area from which they could easily board/exit the bus. Determinations were purely subjective and may not necessarily represent the view of the SMTD or its passengers.Comments - This field contains any other information that was deemed relevant. Information regarding notable bus stops (transfer center stops, blue dot = utilized for both day and night service, night service = night service only, limited = limited service) and bus stop condition is noted here.Latitude - The latitude of the given stop.Longitude - The longitude of the given stop.Photo - A photograph of each stop was taken and is stored on the SSCRPC's shared drive.
