Layers:

Description: NOT TO BE USED FOR BILLING DATA.

Displays data from UTIL.SurfaceType, symbolized on the attribute POLLUT_TYPE. Data will not display when zoomed out beyond 1:2400.

A composite of three different data sources: DWW.IMPERVIOUS_SURFACE_PLGN; CGDB.BLDG2009_PLGN; DPR.Landcover_Citywide_2007.

DWW.IMPERVIOUS_SURFACE_PLGN forms the base as it contains the most accurate description of surface type; CGDB.BLDG2009_PLGN is the most accurate and complete for buildings; DPR.Landcover_Citywide_2007 is complete in coverage but the least accurate. First step in creating the layer is to start with DWW.IMPERVIOUS_SURFACE_PLGN and delete features from [IMPSURF_FEATYPE_CODE] = "Other" "Miscellaneous" Obscured" and "Unknown". The classifications of Other, Misc., Obscured and Unknown are unclear, not always classifying the same surface type, and can be better classified with the other two layers. Second add building footprints from CGDB.BLDG2009_PLGN on top of DWW.IMPERVIOUS_SURFACE_PLGN. Finally, any locations with missing data are filled in with DPR.Landcover_Citywide_2007.

[Pollut_Type] is the surface type placed into eight classifications : Trees, Pervious Landscape, Buildings, Sidewalks, Streets, Driveways/Parking Lots, Water, Other Impervious. See table below for transferring classifcations from source layers.

[Perv_Imperv] classifys either Impervious or Pervious surface.

[Imp_type_I] is an integer that corresponds to [Pollut_Type].
