Description: Comprehensive tree map of San Francisco International Airport for use by SFO Infrastructure Information Management.Numbering/Naming Convention: This is a unique value, and identified in the field by a round aluminum tag nailed to trunk at 4-6” above the ground, or below split in trunk for multi-trunk trees. Tag to be away from sidewalk in heavy traffic areas, and towards nearest walk in forest areas for easier identification. Trees maintained by SFO will be tagged. Tree in this class will be tagged within the range of 1 - 7000. Unique tag numbers are retired when a tree is removed. Unique tag numbers will never be recycled. All tags and nails are to be aluminum as to not cause damage to trees. Trees numbered 9999 are removed, these trees do not exist and therefore are not tagged.Trees numbered 8888 are trees that are not maintained nor are they the responsibility of SFO. These trees are not tagged nor was there attribute data collected. Trees numbered 7777 are trees owned and maintained by SFO that are located on the "West of Bayshore" property. Trees in the sequence are not to be tagged nor will be attributed due to limited accessibility to the area.Data Key:ID: (see "Numbering/Naming Convention").Prun_Cycle: years between scheduled maintenance visits- default is 1 for trees up to 5 years old, and trees with canopy intersecting pathways, parking, or occupied landscape [seating, playfields, etc.], 5 for all trees within falling distance of occupied areas, and 10 for all others. This number is to be adjusted by operations staff based on resources. (Typical work for each maintenance cycle will be identified later for species by age and location.) DBH: (inches )Diameter Breast Height. Tree trunks are measured at the height of an adult's breast. This measurement is in inches.AGIS: True = point exisited on AGIS tree data. False = point did not exisit on AGIS tree data.GENUS_ : Tree Genus.SPECIES: Tree Species.COMMON: Tree Common Name.SPREAD: Estimated diameter (in feet) of horizontal tree canopy at time of data collection.HEIGHT: Esitmated height (in feet) from ground level to tree's highest point at time of data collection.CONDITION: vigorousaverageweakCOMMENT: any special issues that will affect priority or further inspection, identification, etc. Native: True/False. Identifies whether or not tree species is native to the environment.Owner: Identifies, using property lines, who the owner of the tree is.UFOR: Concatonated Genus & Species (1st two letters of each) to format into UFORE eco code standards. Python is !GENUS_![:2] + !SPECIES![:2]
