Service Description: This layer maps the locations/boundaries of annexations and detachments from LAFCO proposals. The boundaries of the boundary changes are not completely accurate, but are to be used for reference. Information included in each polygon representing a boundary change are: proposal name, proposal number, city added to, year completed, districts removed from, and districts added to. As of 07/29/2022, the last proposal mapped was 1980. The proposals that are included in this layer are from 2021 through the last proposal mapped, most likely sometime in 1988 or 1989.
