Attributes include:
Stand_ID: A numerical value assigned to forest stands for identification
Soil: Describes soil types in the study area
Age_class: Indicates age class of forest stand in 10-year increments
0 = clearcut or harvested area
10 = age 10–19
20 = age 20–29
30 = age 30–39
40 = age 40–49
50 = age 50–59
60 = age 60–69
70 = age 70–79
80 = 80+ years
999 = mixed-aged stands or areas where age is irrelevant (i.e., agriculture)
Veg_type: Vegetation types
Agriculture: Crops such as corn, beans, hay.
Aspen: Dominant species is aspen
Lowland forest: Trees adapted to moist soil conditions
Northern hardwood: Maple, beech, basswood, etc.
Oak: Dominant species is oak
Open land: Open areas with grass
Upland conifers: Conifers adapted to dry soil conditions
Upland shrub: Dry, shrubby areas
Urban: Roads, parking lots, housing, other structures
Water: Open water
Wetland: Poorly drained areas or standing water with emergent vegetation
