Description: Geographic data in this file was prepared primarily by the Washington State Department of Transportation (DOT). The Washington State Office of Financial Management staff took the following steps in preparing this file:1. Converted multi part features to single part features.2. Added annexation parcel numbers to polygons consistent with OFM records.3. Changed city name spellings to be consistent with OFM records.4. Adjusted annexation ordinance numbers to be consistent with OFM Records.5. Joined OFM annexation database records (CENEST) to DOT single part geometry by adjusted Ordinance ID and annexation Parcel ID.Note when DOT records refer to an area with by an original ordinance and an amending ordinance number OFM almost always matches the geometry to the original ordinance number because the original record almost always contains state certified population and housing counts.Reporting quarters are revenue distribution quarters defined as follows:Q1 = September thru NovemberQ2 = December thru FebruaryQ3 = March thru MayQ4 = June thru August
