Description: This EnviroAtlas dataset is the base layer for the Pensacola FL EnviroAtlas area. The block groups are from the US Census Bureau and are included/excluded as described in the processing steps. For this dataset, block groups that are within or intersect the US Census Urban Area boundary for Pensacola, FL plus 1 km are represented. Block groups that intersect the US Census Urban Area boundary only represent portions of the block groups within the boundary. This dataset was produced the US EPA to support research and online mapping activities related to EnviroAtlas. EnviroAtlas (https://www.epa.gov/enviroatlas) allows the user to interact with a web-based, easy-to-use, mapping application to view and analyze multiple ecosystem services for the contiguous United States. The dataset is available as downloadable data (https://edg.epa.gov/data/Public/ORD/EnviroAtlas) or as an EnviroAtlas map service.
