This feature class depicts the locations and analytical data for confirmation samples collected by Converse Consultants in 2006 within the top 2 feet of soil at finish grade in the Santa Maria Ranch Phase III Subdivision. These samples were intended to represent the potential exposure of residents after home construction and the sampling program and design was performed in accordance with guidelines of the draft Long-Term Sampling and Response Plan (LTSRP) in effect at that time.
The following resource was used in compiling the dataset: Converse Consultants, Kathi Brandmueller, P.E., C.E.M., February 28, 2006, Percolation and Soil Testing, Santa Maria Ranch Phase III , Dayton, Nevada, letter to Dale Denio, Dayton Land Developers, L.L.C., Unpublished. Letter report describes the investigation and characterization sampling conducted within approximately 149 acres on the south side of the Carson River planned for 29 residential parcels. NDEP determined that 11 proposed parcel locations were within the FEMA 100-year flood plain of the Carson River and required collection of near surface samples within the top 2 feet and analysis for total mercury. Dayton Land Developers performed sampling at 4 locations selected on parcel boundaries between 8 of the contiguous parcels that extend into the floodplain. Report provides summary of analytical results and GPS coordinates of the 4 sample locations. Metadata
