Description: On Nov. 8, 2018, the Camp Fire began burning in Butte
County, Calif., destroying most of the towns of Paradise, Pulga and Concow. The
U.S. Environmental Protection Agency and California Department of Toxic
Substances Control (DTSC) are assisting recovery efforts by surveying, collecting
and disposing of household hazardous waste at approximately 12,800 affected
properties. EPA and DTSC began household hazardous waste assessment, collection
and removal on Dec. 3, 2018.
