This layer represents the sewer service area for the City of Ventura. It includes the western extension that came from the legal annexation/detachment(s) for the Ventura County Service Area 29 as recorded in the County of Ventura. The annexation/detachment(s) went through the LAFCo process and were adopted prior to recordation. That area provides sanitary sewer collection and, via contract, treatment services to Mussel Shoals, Seacliff, Faria and Solimar Beach communities.
