Description: This map service contains the end result of our MTR analysis project. The MTR layer shows the Mountain Top Removal sites derived from multiple analysis. In ERDAS we performed a unsupervised classification on the imagery that was flown in 2010. We chose to classify 50 pixels and identify each of them as MTR or NonMTR. The final imagery was converted to a polygon in ArcMap and re-classified to show only the MTR sites. We removed MTR polygons that intersects mountain ridges, areas within 50 meters of roads and rives, and areas within 400 meters of major rivers and highways.
