Description: The following area that group 2 worked on was very large now it makes more sense as to why we tackled this as a group instead of individuals. The individual portions that we tackled were very intense this is an issue that I am very concerned about. The environment is something that we must take care of so the fact that something so horrific to such beautiful areas is just a terribly troubling realization. The project was very challenging it used a lot of skills and tools that I was not necessarily used to using or having to provide data and analysis in a team environment. The most nerve racking part of the entire project which is also true in real world use was the idea that I would butcher my map and leave my team in a world of hurt stuck trying to make sense of broken and useless data. When the random points were generated and after looking and zooming into my areas I generated a very low 13.33% accuracy which led me to believe that I had performed it incorrectly but after discussing this with my team I came to the conclusion that my data and information was correct and accurate. The second set of data that was very important not only to the team and the project as a whole was the total acreage of our areas, but the group areas as a complete and total whole. There were some items that confused me and my team but we were very diligent about keeping in touch and asking not only for help but doing our best to help where we could and make it as easy for the leaders to do their job in putting all of the information together into a nice map package for us to use currently and having it be very accurate. I myself on the discussion board and the signup sheet decided the take group 2’s tasks and tried to delineate which images to work on as individuals by asking them to look them over and choose one that would suit them best. I was not the leader having scheduling issues so Chad decided to take the roll and we were extremely grateful to his time and effort in making the needed grouping and corrections for the final group project.
