Includes Hospitals, Ambulatory Healthcare Facilities, and Extended Care Facilities. Hospitals - facilities providing medical, diagnostic, and treatment services that include physician, nursing, and other health services to inpatients and the specialized accommodation services required by inpatients. Includes General Medical and Surgical Hospitals (Private and Private Not-for-Profit, Federal, State, Local, and Tribal), Psychiatric and Substance Abuse Hospitals, Children's Hospitals, and Specialty Hospitals.
