The
National Conservation Easement Database (NCED) is a collaborative
venture to compile easement records (both spatial and tabular) from land
trusts and public agencies throughout the United States in a single,
up-to-date, sustainable, GIS-compatible, online source. The rest of the

These National Conservation Easement Database (NCED) were clipped to the Summer Chum ESU. They were downloaded from conservationeasement.us and processed by the HCCC on October 26, 2019.
Land Trust Shoreline Properties:
This point data was received from Ben Larson in January 2023 and clipped to the summer chum ESU. It represents land trust properties as cataloged in the
Shoreline Conservation Collaborative Data Summary for the Washington Association of Land Trusts, written by Ben Larson, March 6, 2019. The data is current as of March 6, 2019 and does not reflect any trust properties acquired past that date and potentially earlier (the last date in the database is 2018). For more recent acquisitions please contact the Great Peninsula Conservancy, Jefferson Land Trust, and/or the Trust for Public Land. Please also note that there are a few properties that may not be considered "shoreline" on the western side of Hood Canal as they are inland by a short distance, however they are included in this dataset because the dataset creators acknowledge these properties' contributions to shoreline habitat and restoration.
