Updated: Every 10 years sometime after the US Census. Last update is January 31, 2024

Update Procedure: Only the MPO boundary was updated in 2024 however, by default the RTPO gets changed to reflect addition/removal of the RTPO to where the updated MPO boundary has expanded/reduced. In 2024 the only change was to the Farmington MPO (it increased in size). Per the NMDOT Planning department, the RTPO that shrank does not have the capability to provide a shapefile. The Roadway Inventory Program was thus tasked to modifiy this feature to incorporate the changes to the MPO/RTPO.
