Service Description: Richness of freshwater stream habitat types present in each stream segment. Richness is determined by counts of different types of physical habitats (based on typed gradient, ocean or lake connectivity, stream temperature, drainage area, valley confinement, and flow regime) in the network. Physical habitat diversity is associated with more biodiversity and higher resiliency for freshwater ecosystems.
