Service Description: The Tsunami Hazard Area represents an area that could be exposed to tsunami hazards during a tsunami event, it includes tsunami model results that at a minimum represent inundation exceeding that of a 975-year average return period event. The Hazard Area covers all low-lying, populated areas along the State's coastline. This data can assist cities and counties in identifying their exposure to tsunami hazards and is intended for local jurisdictional, coastal evacuation planning uses only.
