Service Description: Stations with groundwater quality data. Sites come from two sources: USGS and the Groundwater Ambient Monitoring and Assessment (GAMA). The USGS National Water Information System (NWIS) data records physical and chemical characteristics of the water including pH, specific conductance, temperature, dissolved oxygen, and percent dissolved-oxygen saturation. GAMA compiles groundwater quality data from a variety of sources, including the Department of Water Resources, Department of Pesticide Regulation, Division of Drinking Water, GAMA special studies, California Water Board, Irrigated Lands Regulatory Program, and the Water Replenishment District of Southern California.
