Description: This map layer contains all 2014 school districts in California, downloaded from the U.S. Census.gov Tiger/Line shapefiles website. Enrollment demographics available from the California Dewpartment of Education's DataQuest website were manually amended to the shapefiles. Counts were also calculated for the number of active/new oil and gas wells and the numer of stimulated active/new oil and as wells falling within the boundaries of each school district. The datasets are divided up into elementary, unified, and secondary school district types.
