Register_Info (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: Unfortunately, many people find that once their bike is stolen, they do not have the serial number or other information needed to file a police report or insurance claim. By registering your bicycle with BEAR, all the following will occur if it is ever stolen.
First, your missing bicycle information (not your personal information) will be immediately shared through the Sheriff's Office social media to alert the community to be on the lookout for your bicycle.
Second, a crime report will be generated and emailed to you within 48 hours.
Third, the Sheriff's Office will enter your stolen bicycle into a international law enforcement database (National Crime Information Center) to so that any North American police agency will be able to reunite you with your bicycle should it be recovered in their jurisdiction., SQL Type: sqlTypeOther, length: 255, nullable: true, editable: true)
Stolen_Response (type: esriFieldTypeString, alias: We are sorry to hear that your B.E.A.R. registered bicycle has been stolen. Once you notify us through this application, the Sheriff's Office will do the following;
Immediately post information about the theft (not your personal information) to all Sheriff's Office social media so that the community will be on the lookout.
Email you a theft report within 48 hours to assist you with any insurance claims (a stolen bicycle may be partially covered under personal property coverage if you have home, renter, or condo insurance.) (p>
