Service Description: This dataset, prepared by the Maryland Department of Planning (MDP), contains a draft land use classification for each parcel in the State of Maryland. The classifications are preliminary and intended for review by local jurisdictions before becoming final. Please do not circulate the draft widely or use it for analysis or mapping without permission from MDP. In some cases, overlap among parcels has been removed to facilitate mapping. Therefore, parcels may no longer reflect original parcel polygon boundaries or tax ID numbers. MDP recommends deleting any copies of this draft dataset following local review to avoid confusion with the final product.
