Description: This dataset of polygon areas represents proposed connection corridors which have been identified as filling critical gaps in establishing a statewide trail network. Connection corridors were identified through a consensus of trail advocates,interest groups, citizens and other public and private planning professionals attending DNR Trail Workshops in 2016 and 2017. These workshops were held regionally thorughout the state to help regional trail stakeholders identify connections to existing trail networks which achieve departmental goals of statewide connectivity to recreational land trails
This dataset should be used for planning purposes only and does not represent priority funding initiatives or any other implied position of the state.
