These factions include the Houthi Movement and al-Qaeda in Yemen, al-Shabaab in Somalia, and Boko Haram in Nigeria. In South Sudan, the SPLA/M-IO rebel movement holds little territory, and its areas of influence cannot be reliably mapped. The data was manually digitized from available online resources.
