This layer contains address points for Scott County, Iowa.  Originally created under contract with GeoComm to support location needs, it continues to be maintained with information from a variety of local sources including local addressing authorities, 911 agency, building permits and others.  In the attribute table, in addition to the several self-evident address related columns, fields of note include:

• ADD_TYPE (domain values):  Main:  street level address used in conjunction with unit level addressing. Standard:  street level address, Sub Address:  Reserved for building ID's (e.g., Building A, B, 1, 2, Rogalski Center), Unit:  unit level addressing (e.g. unit, apt, suite, lot). 

• Status:  A = Active, I = Inactive

• STY: (domain values):  A = Ag structure (barn, machine bldg), AC = Access (duplicate address point placed at driveway/road access point for structures located at least 300 feet from the primary road, C = Commercial address, E = Exempt address (e.g., church, government bldg), I = Industrial address, R = Residential address, U = Utility (cell tower, phone pedestal, etc.).
