Service Description: This layer contains shoreline boundaries delineated and georeferenced from historical satellite imagery (derived from DCRM's internal server). Methods aim to retrieve boundaries every ten years and is shown based on best available data. Digital Shoreline Analysis System (DSAS) software is intended to facilitate the shoreline change-calculation process and to provide rate-of-change information and the statistical data necessary to establish the reliability of the calculated results.
