Service Description: Crash rates calculated for on-system roadways within the BTMP study area. Crash rates are 5-year averages drawn from CRIS data 2020-2024.
Symbology of CR Status attribute compares crash rates to the 2024 statewide average CR on comparable facilities. Comparable facilities include consideration of urban/rural designation of the segment, and facility type. Crash rates used in comparison can be found here: https://www.txdot.gov/content/dam/docs/division/trf/crash-records/2024/02.pdf
Crash rates that were within +/- 15% of statewide averages on comparable facilities are considered "Average".
