Service Description: The information contained in these data sets was collected in a collaborative project with University of Toronto. University of Toronto Professor Matt Adams and his research team conducted an air quality monitoring project in the City of Hamilton for two summer months in 2022. The project collected air samples at the level of neighbourhood by selecting air sampling sites based on geographical and population characteristics. The contaminants sampled in the study include Polycyclic Aromatic Hydrocarbons (PAHs), including Benzo[a]pyrene. For more information about the project, please visit: https://www.hamilton.ca/sites/default/files/2024-03/comm-update-High-Density-Passive-Air-Quality-Monitoring-In-The-City-Of-Hamilton.pdf.
