Description: Summary of focal species connectivity models used for the focal species metric for the Washington Habitat Connectivity Action Plan (WAHCAP). For each 1-mile grid cell, layer contains the number of species with modeled cores or corridors overlapping that call, and the names of those species. Beaver is not included in this layer but was included in the WAHCAP. Most of the included species models were developed by the Washington Wildlife Habitat Connectivity Working Group (https://waconnected.org/). Models were reviewed and sometimes updated by species experts before including them in the WAHCAP. In the WAHCAP, species data were weighted by data quality and confidence, but this layer is a raw summary of the number of species models overlapping each cell.
