Description: A measure of connectivity value at the state highway interface that emphasizes structural habitat connectivity and biodiversity which is the product of the Landscape Connectivity Value map of the Washington Habitat Connectivity Action Plan (WAHCAP) and traffic volume. This is one of two primary categories of WSDOT's Habitat Connectivity Investment Priorities (HCIP), as well as a primary product of the WAHCAP (2025). Collectively, HCIP and WAHCAP products can be used by WSDOT and partners to focus efforts to maintain or improve wildlife connectivity and reduce wildlife-vehicle collisions along the state highway system. Please direct questions about this dataset to Glen Kalisz, WSDOT Habitat Connectivity Biologist, Glen.Kalisz@wsdot.wa.gov
