Description: This layer tracks the Norman City Council Ward boundaries. There are eight wards within the City of Norman. Citizens in each ward elect a councilmember to represent them on the City Council. City Council is made up of the elected representatives from each ward plus the citywide elected Mayor. A reapportionment commission is set up to determine whether ward boundary changes are needed in order to bring a better balance of population between wards.
