Description: This data layer defines the extent of the St. Johns River Water Management District. A legal description of the District boundary was used as a guide to find map features from USGS 1:24,000 scale quad maps that coincide with the District boundary. These map features were then digitized from the USGS quads. In July 1, 2003, the Polk County portion of SJRWMD was transferred to the SWFWMD, and this layer was updated to reflect the change.
