The Unique Grid is the Licensor's integrated graphic coordinate system that is defined by a combination of unique numeric and alphabetic designations, and linear graphics used to define geographic reference points (coordinates) in relationship to Key Maps, Inc.'s copyrighted map base. The Unique Grid Coordinates are represented through a series of numeric digits defining two-dimensional geometric space, per example (x coordinate 12345.0178, y coordinate 34567.0034 ). Furthermore Key Maps, Inc. assigns Page and Square Reference by alphabetical and numeric designations to identify geometric areas defined by the coordinate system, per example (Page 531 Square A, also identified as 531A). The Unique Grid is graphically represented as an integral part of Key Maps, Inc.'s copyrighted map base, and retains the protection of federal copyright law when displayed as a separate graphic work, or created through any digital derivation, computation or coordinate system, which substantially would represent the graphic presentation of the Unique Grid.
