Description:

New York City is divided into 7 DSNY zones (Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn North, Brooklyn South, Queens West, Queens East, and Staten Island) for operations management. These zones are furthered divided into 59 collection districts, coincident with the community district boundaries.

The boundaries for this dataset is coincident with LION and Districts 16C (http://www1.nyc.gov/site/planning/data-maps/open-data.page). LION and Districts are maintained by NYC Department of City Planning (DCP).
