Notifications of harvest activity in the State of Oregon submitted to the Oregon Department of Forestry through the Forest Activity Electronic Reporting and Notification System (FERNS). FERNS allows landowners to Notify the Oregon Department of Forestry prior to conducting an operation or forest practice. The notification requires the drawing of a polygon, line or point shape. Each shape can have one or multiple activities. For each activity a shape is extracted from the FERNS data to display in ESRI formatted feature class. It is possible to have multiple identical shapes on top of each other. Included in the feature class are basic attributes associated with the activity. This file is a copy of the source data stored and maintained in the FERNS program.
