Description: Draft data 2/5/2025, not for production use. Under the Northwest and Southwest Oregon State Forests Management Plans (FMPs) adopted under Oregon Administrative Rule 629-035-0105, forest stands managed to produce a variety of stand structure types across the landscape. Implementation plans (IPs) developed under the FMPs target specific areas on the landscape on which to develop these stand structure types. These locations are approximate, based on current stand types and available silivicutural tools. Various factors such as topographic operability, the presence of protected resources and stochastic events (e.g. windstorms) affect the ability achieve the desired future condition. The two primary focal stand structure types are the Older Forest Structure and Layered types, which are intended to contain structural components believed to be important to late seral species. The Regeneration, Closed Single Canopy and Understory stand types are normally lumped in a 'General' category. Non-Forest and Non-Silviculturally Capable areas may also be included for reference.
