Description: List of high risk industries came from Oregon OSHA. The methodology for industry hazard ranking was adopted in October 2009. The purpose of the ranking was to guide safety enforcement scheduling at fixed sites. Seven criteria that are listed below were utilized in ranking and subsequent grouping. The 5 groups (Tiers A-E) with the highest hazard level were used. NAICS codes 23* and 1135 and 1137 which are hazardous industry sectors but don't have "fixed" worksites were also included.
